2022 HAIL AND FAREWELL LUNCHEON

Each year we host a Hail and Farewell Luncheon to honor our graduates and welcome our new appointees.  This year's event will be on Saturday, June 4th at Seasons 52 in Orlando, Florida.

FLORIDA CLUBS ACROSS THE STATE UNITE TO BRING A LITTLE SUNSHINE TO OUR CADETS EVERY FEBRUARY.  UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ALL STATE NIGHTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THIS IS A GREAT EVENT FOR ALL FLORIDA CADETS TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER, EAT SOME FOOD,AND ENJOY SUNSHINE STATE FUN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COLD COLORADO WINTER. WE HOPE TO HAVE A FLORIDA STATE NIGHT EVENT SOON SO STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION AS IT BECOME AVAILABLE.

ALL SERVICE ACADEMIES MILITARY BALL - DECEMBER 22, 2019

Keynote Speaker:
​Captain Guy Gruters, Class of 1964

Captain Gruters flew more than 400 combat missions in the Vietnam War and was awarded more than 30 combat awards, including two Silver Stars, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, two Bronze Stars for Valor, two Purple Hearts, the POW Medal, and more than 20 Air Medals.  He was shot down in 1967 and spent the next five years in POW camps, including the notorious 'Hanoi Hilton', where he met and cared for the mortally wounded Captain Lance Sijan.

The 2019 All Service Academies Military Ball was hosted by the U.S. Air Force Academy Parents Club of Central Florida in honor of the Cadets and Midshipmen of the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and our esteemed alumni, veterans, families and guests.
